I am not a house-sitter who feeds dogs. I'm a dog-sitter who also keeps up your house.

I charge $70 per day as a flat rate, and that includes any number of animals (within reason). Each calendar day that I'm at your home will count as a day. The reason for this? My calendar. A potential client who sees a day blocked out may consider me unavailable and pass over my services. 

I ask for a deposit of 50 percent at booking, and then a payment upfront, on the first day of my stay. The deposit is optional unless you want me to hold the dates for you. If someone inquires about them and you haven’t paid a deposit, I will give you the opportunity to do so.
