Unfortunately I have had too many cancellations to have a generous hold policy. If you would like to reserve dates for a sitting job, I ask for a 50% deposit up front. I can refund that if you have to cancel 4 months or longer prior to the first date of the stay, and half of that deposit if you cancel 3 months prior. After that I will retain the deposit.

This is necessary because new or existing clients may find other arrangements if they inquire about dates that are already booked.

If you would like to have me set aside dates without reserving them, I can "pencil in" those dates, and then contact you if I have a request from someone else. At that point you would have the option to make a deposit, and I will hold the dates for you.
